Why choose Metalphoto® nameplates or aluminum foil nameplates for your product identification?

Photo-sensitive anodized aluminum nameplates and panels, also known as Metalphoto®, combine exceptional durability with a long-lasting quality appearance.

Metalphoto® nameplates set the standard for image quality and performance over time whether in extreme conditions, exposed to high temperatures, or subjected to severe abrasion, weather or chemicals.

Metalphoto® nameplates, regardless of thickness, outlast other nameplates and will maintain their good looks during the life of your product.

What makes Metalphoto nameplates the most durable on the market?

  • The Metalphoto® image is protected under a sapphire-hard anodized layer with no ink or stamping on the surface to rub off, and no engraving or etching to invite corrosion. This includes serial numbers and barcodes! With the use of film, all text and graphics are embedded photographically and sealed. This is also true for our aluminum foil labels.

  • Since its development 70 years ago, Metalphoto® anodized aluminum nameplates have proven to stand the test of time in industries ranging from original equipment manufacturers, the military, and aerospace.

FAQ’s

What quality can I expect if I have very small text or detailed graphics?

Only have room for a small identification plate on your product? Have a detailed chart, schematic, graphic image or photograph you want included? No problem.

Metalphoto® nameplates are photographically imaged and create the highest resolution text and graphics of any process.

There is no surface ink, etching, engraving or stamping. You can count on consistent image quality throughout every lot. Eliminate the risk of having to scrap even one plate due to poor print quality.

An identification plate also reflects on your product and brand. Photosensitive aluminum nameplates are beautiful and project top quality.

What if I only need a few plates?

Short runs have been our niche for over 40 years!

As your product lines evolve, Photo-Graphics Co. will quote you the quantity you need and will modify your designs as often as required.

We keep up with you. Ready when you are.

Why does Photo-Graphics Co. specialize in small orders?

We require no minimum order.

From prototypes to production runs, no order is too small.

There is a huge demand for short runs of product identification. Start-ups, aerospace related industries, OEM’s that roll out lower volume products, and hobbyists, don’t need thousands of labels. Products can change over time, and therefore the data plate may change, and no one wants to be stuck with nameplates or labels they can’t use.

You can place a small quantity order without fear you are sacrificing technical expertise. We have decades of engineering and graphics expertise specifically in nameplate design. You can rely on us to interpret drawings and prepare artwork accurately.

Is there a limit to the variable data I can include?

Including variable information on anodized aluminum plates is not only doable, it’s recommended. No need for “after the fact” stamping, engraving or marking.

Serial numbers, barcodes, model numbers, part numbers or any unique data can easily be embedded in the anodized aluminum. No risk of corrosion or missing information down the road because the number wore off or is no longer readable.

Barcode labels and UID labels to meet your specifications, or meet MIL-STD-130, are available in any quantity and will hold up under harsh conditions.

I need plates in a unique shape with several cutouts. Is this possible?

Yes! Need your nameplate shaped like a disc, an arch, or your logo? Need a nameplate full of holes or unique cutouts?

Avoid tooling charges and ask Photo-Graphics Co. to fabricate your nameplates or aluminum panels per your specifications whether you order 1 or 1000.

Tip of the Trade: Consider reversing out the black or silver background to make a section of your design stand out such as a logo, serial number, warning or company name.
